Why do we need web design?

Too many web design companies will give you a slow-loading overly complex website that is visually and functionally unsuitable for the job in hand. We'll create a web site for you that is exactly what you desire to achieve for your business, club or organisation. We'll determine your requirements using good Business Analysis methods and put them in place using Prince 2 or AGILE Project Management methodologies.

Your requirements will determine the look, the feel and the content, ensuring that the final website does both what you need and what you want. We can even use our own unique graphic designs to provide bespoke images for your web.

We can create either style though we prefer to create Joomla sites as it gives you far more for your money.

We can create a totally bespoke look and feel to your site or we can customise an existing template to your specific needs.

Note the style of this website has been adapted from an existing template and is designed to catch a more professional and discerning eye.

We can however change this template at the flick of a switch.

As an example, try changing the banner colour by clicking the small blue box just below the banner at the top right of this page. See the colour change? This is because we are using templates, and although this is an off-the-shelf template any template you choose can be tailored to suit any web environment and the result will be totally unique to you.

We will use our creative skills to make a website that is more than appropriate to your needs.

Click on the "Demo Sites" link at the top of this page to review some demo sites or click on these samples for a mere flavour of what we can do for you.

I hope those demo sites start to whet your appetite. Some of them are Joomla and some are using traditional HTML technology.

We now design our websites using the Joomla Content Management System.

joomla.jpgWhat this means to you is that your website is easily modifiable by yourselves so that you will not need a web designer to make changes in the future. As your website is more dynamic it will become richer in content and far more interesting to your site's visitors.

propertyoxon-large.jpgIt also means that your costs are drastically reduced as you make the changes you require yourself, no more waiting around for a costly web designer to come up with the goods. The technology is all web based and is simple to operate.

One benefit of using Joomla Joomla is that it is one of the most powerful Content Management Systems on the planet. It is open-source which means that thousands of developers are contributing new applications that support the core system.

It is used all over the world for everything from simple websites to complex corporate applications. Best of all it is easy to manage, reliable and stable.

Anybody with basic word processing skills can easily learn to manage a Joomla site. Via a simple, browser-based interface you will be able to easily add news items, manage staff pages, product images and create an unlimited amount of sections or content pages on your site.

Here are just some of the ways people use Joomla to create:

  • Corporate websites or portals
  • Small business websites
  • Non-profit and organisational websites
  • Government applications
  • Corporate intranets and extranets
  • School and church websites
  • Personal or family homepages
  • Community-based portals
  • Magazines and newspapers
  • On-line commerce

The possibilities are endless!

Joomla can be used to easily manage every aspect of your website, from adding content and images to updating a product catalog or taking online reservations.

Easy Management Once Joomla is installed, configured, and running, it is simple for even non-technical users to add or edit content, update images and to manage the critical data that makes your company or organisation go.
