The new site will feature a Joomla CMS front-end using a very modern corporate template which matches the character of the parent company. The new site will be easily 'moddable' so that on-going development costs are minimised.

Steampunk Yahoo clock/calendar widget part 3 PDF Print

Right I think I have finished the graphic part of the Steampunk Yahoo
clock/calendar widget. I took a good two days to create it so far. I am
sure that photoshop experts could do better but I am fairly pleased with
the job. It is certainly what I wanted to achieve visually. So, what
have I done? I have added brackets to the slider bar, I have given it a
straight cable run (easier to animate later), added a brass wheel for
the cable to slide upon, changed the cable from white/back to red/blue,
added the top digital clock and brass bell whilst extending the back
wooden baseplate upward an inch or so. I may run a small cable into the
digital clock on the left-hand side with a metal housing. Not sure yet.
I am quite pleased with it as it is.

Next step is to obtain the photoshop/yahoo widget converter and see how
it operates. Do remember that I have done none of this before and this
only my fourth attempt at building anything using photoshop. Not bad so
far though.
