Lightquick Web Design - High Quality, Low Cost

LightQuick Web Design - Latest News

We have just started a contract to supply a new site for Liquid Solutions. The new site will feature a highly technical  Joomla template which will match the sales market for www.liquidsolutions.co.uk. The site will be easy to modify to ensure on-going costs are minimised. We hope to have a good working relationship with Pete Arguile on the new site.

Virtuemart Product Category List with Forced Item ids

mother.pngVirtuemart often has problems with items IDs when navigating. This module is like the standard mod_product_categories module that is distributed with VirtueMart but if you have problems with virtuemart products not showing, then try this category module as you can manually force the item id.

Mod_em_product_categories displays a menu of VirtueMart Product Categories to control customer browsing, and requires the installation of the VirtueMart Main Module. However, mod_em_product_categories adds a parameter that will override the Itemid's that would otherwise be included in all the links produced by the module. (In this initial version only if the TransMenu option is selected for the MenuType parameter)

Requires three support files that should be present in your VM 1.0 installation: /modules/vm_transmenu/ShopMenu_em.php /modules/vm_transmenu/transmenu_em.php /modules/vm_transmenu_em.php

WOTW Download!

The Virtuemart downloads are available for free

To download any of the WOTW Companion files - you must be logged in and registered as a special userfrom this site. If the window to the right states "No categories available yet!" then the system thinks you are not yet logged in as a special user.  If you have only just registered you'll need to contact the webmaster here to become a special user able to download. If you already have special user privileges then try logging in again, the download system can sometimes get confused...

This message can also occur if your browser has the old page in cache. You may need to clear your browser cache a few times.
