welcome to any lovers of steampunk stuff, here you will find some Steampunk icons - what is an icon?

An icon can be described as "a pictogram displayed on a computer screen and used to navigate a computer system or mobile device. The icon itself is a small picture or symbol serving as a quick, "intuitive" representation of a software tool, function or a data file accessible on the system. It functions as an electronic hyperlink or file shortcut to access the program or data. "

The only difference to the above is that these icons are decidedly steampunk in design.

Please feel free to download and use any of these for use on your Windows / Mac OS/X / Linux system. As of the end of October 2012 over 750,000+ people have downloaded my steampunk widgets, icons and other stuff from various locations, approx. 1,500+ per day now - and all for free.

Here are some of the steampunk icons that I have created for use with Rocketdock or Stardock as replacement taskbar icons. Feel free to download. They look very steampunk and are a suitable replacement for the default icons that come with Windows. If you are into Steampunk then these will spruce up your desktop. These icons do NOT need the yahoo widget engine - they are just icon images in Windows ICO format.

There are 24 steampunk icons in this set. Each icon comes with a large size 322 pixel PNG and a multiple .ICO file containing icons of the following size 16, 32, 48, 64, 128 and 256 pixels all within the same file. These are just a few of the icons available in - Set MkII. 

We perform an installation service - so we can steampunk your desktop if you want us too. If you have a Windows XP/Vista, Windows 7 or 8, PC or laptop we can add the steampunk widgets, a leather backdrop, rocketdock launcher and the steampunk icons. Just give us a call here .
