avirus.pngThis plugin is an essential tool built to protect your joomla 1.0 sites against SQL injections and Local file inclusions. It intercepts and checks data which is sent to joomla making it more difficult for hackers to hack your joomla 1.0 website. This plugin can prevent a lot of common exploits. Features: - Filter POST, GET, REQUEST data and block SQL injections. - Also protects your site against LFI attacks. - Email notification on attack as an option. - Can fix leaks in lots of old and vulnerable 3rd Party extensions. - Can be configured to automatically block the attackers IP address and will email you the attacker's details so you can block them permanently.

This version has been improved on the original by allowing the attacker's IP address to be included in the email subject.

If you have a Joomla 1.0 or Joostina site then this mambot is an utterly essential  component to secure your site. A step by step guide to securing your Joomla 1.0 website can be found here .
